From the moment we arrived we felt very welcome, The breakfast was spot on and the service was brilliant. The course was one of the best we have played and it should be a credit to the greenkeeper and his staff, I would highly recommend this course to anyone and we will definitely returning.

committee and all the members and staff at Buxton and High Peak Golf Club for allowing us to hold
our Junior Spring Meeting at your club.
Please convey our sincere thanks to your head greenkeeper and staff for presenting the course in
such good condition given the recent spate of weather.
We would also like to thank Stacey, your catering and bar staff for being so helpful and obliging, and

Can I just say a really huge thank you to all of you up at High Peak. We had a marvellous day yesterday, my only curse was the four-way traffic lights in the middle of Buxton!
The setting was, and of course still is, delightful. We came up trumps with the weather, which didn’t look brilliant first thing but we were in glorious sunshine by the afternoon. That said, I’d like someone more scientific than me to explain why we were driving into the wind (ok breeze) on half a dozen consecutive holes in different directions! The greens played really well, albeit faster than we’re used to, and our thanks to the groundstaff. Mike was a star in the pro’s shop, and please pass my thanks on to him. Ditto Kerry and the rest of the catering staff. You can’t beat a good old Sunday dinner. Wonderful, and served with a smile, in fact many smiles.
I had so many people thanking me for a great Captains’ Day. A number of colleagues asked why I’d chosen such a delightful course and club. My answer was a combination of excellent value for money, yes, but from my very first contact with you guys you’ve all made us feel very welcome and you’ve all gone out of your way to help me and to accommodate us. A big thank you to you, Jane.

Thank you for the hospitality given to our guys last Thursday , we all enjoyed the course very much and meal afterwards.You were right about the weather which made the day perfect.

A cracking challenge and a friendly club to boot.
This course is long, varied and challenging, you definately know you have had a good walk but it's well worth the effort. One minute you play a short blind uphill par three, the next minute you are playing a long par four with a road to your right (OOB naturally) and a well placed quarry part way down the fairway to focus the mind as you tee off! this is a course that gets you thinking and which rewards course management. The scenery is wonderfuland the course is kept in fantastic condition. We found the members chatty and welcoming. The clubhouse was plush, clean and well equipped. The bar staff were very welcoming, the food was great and very reasonably priced. I will be back!

top winter course
travelled over from derby after a recommendation to play this course in the winter,we took advantage of the winter deal £10 for 18 holes plus soup and sandwiches. Fairways and greens were in excellent condition with some very testing holes in the breezy conditions . the course not to hilly more gentle rolling parkland with good views over the peak district a definite to revisit in the summer months
