Notes for Players

Including Dress Regulations – Course and Clubhouse

All organisers are responsible for ensuring that all members of their party are aware of these rulesprior to arrival at Buxton & High Peak Golf Club. This is to help avoid any embarrassment and toensure your visit is as enjoyable as possible.

General Conditions of Play

 Payment for all society and corporate packages must be made to the Pro Shop before commencing play.

 Play will be from the Yellow and Red tees, unless authorised by prior arrangement.

 All players are expected to adhere to the Rules of Golf, local rules, and the etiquette andcourtesy of the game.

 Care of the course is essential; please ensure all divots and pitch marks are repaired.

 Speed of play is very important, and particular attention should be given to avoiding slowplay.

Dress Code – Course

We recognise that golf fashion continues to evolve. Our current guidelines are as follows:

 Recognised golfing apparel is acceptable

 Golf polo shirts and modern crew-neck tops must have sleeves

 Tailored trousers or tailored shorts are acceptable

 Golf shoes must be worn

 Changing of clothes is not permitted in the Club car park

Dress Code – Clubhouse

In the Clubhouse, clean and smart casual clothing is permitted.

The following items are not allowed:

 Golfing hats or headwear

 Dirty or soiled clothing, including footwear.

Liability:

The Club cannot accept liability for any injury, loss, or damage to persons, clothing, equipment,money, valuables, vehicles, or their contents. All vehicles are parked entirely at the owner’s risk.

Please ensure that all players in your group are aware of the dress code and conditions of play.
