Welcome to Buxton & High Peak Golf Club

A true test of golf in a beautiful country setting. Buxton & High Peak Golf Club is located in the High Peak 13 miles south east of Stockport and close to the centre of the beautiful spa town of Buxton.

Approaching Buxton, often regarded as the gateway to the Peak District, you could be excused for thinking that you are in for a mountainous round of golf. Nothing could be further from the truth! You will soon discover that the course is built on gentle, rolling parkland surrounded by magnificent scenery.

The course offers a variety of challenges designed to test golfers of all standards. The beautifully presented greens are medium paced and vary between flat and significantly undulating. We are very proud that our summer tees and greens are now in play for 12 months of the year. The course uses many natural features to enhance the superbly designed layout which is regularly used for County representative matches.
