England Cricket Star, Ryan Sidebottom, to join Buxton & High Peak Golf Club

We are delighted to announce that England's Ryan Sidebottom is set to join BHPGC. The Nottinghamshire club man is sponsored by Golfsupport.co.uk and is a newcomer to golf. His first test was in 2001 against Pakistan, and is one of only 11 bowlers to take a Test hat-trick which came in the 2008 match against New Zealand. He has played in 22 Test Matches and 24 ODI's and has taken 107 wickets. We wish him well with England and look forward to seeing him "bowling us over" with his golfing prowess !

Buxton & High Peak Golf Club & University of Derbyshire Agree Partnership Deal.

The University of Derby and Buxton & High Peak Golf Club are pleased to announce the signing of a mutually beneficial agreement to provide golf facilities for the staff and students of the University aimed at new and experienced golfers. For the future, the golf club will be the home for University of Derby student golf.

Working together, the partnership will encourage students and staff to develop their skills and build a significant interest in the sport within the University.

Special coaching sessions will be provided by the clubs professional, John Lines.
